2. Quintero Golf Club (Peoria)
Located less than one hour northwest of Phoenix Sky Harbor airport, in the high Sonoran desert near Lake Pleasant in the Hieroglyphic Mountains, this accessible yet secluded course has been named one of America’s Top 100 modern golf courses by Golfweek Magazine since, 2002. Located at an elevation between 1986 and 2670 feet, the entire property is surrounded by Federal lands, adding to the feeling of privacy.
3. We-Ko-Pa Golf Club, McDowell
With no homes on site and two outstanding golf courses, this is a must-try club for those wanting to enjoy the best Valley courses. Scott Miller designed its original Cholla Course that boasts a play 7,200 yards from tip to tip. You’ll savor great golf, scenic vistas, specifically the elevated trees that showcase beautiful Sonoran desert and surrounding mountain views. Located in Fort McDowell.
4. Grayhawk Golf Club
The PGA Tour event was previously hosted on its Raptor Course, designed by Tom Fazio. It’s notably challenging with its varied long and short par 4s and memorable par 5s, along with an around the lake risk-reward 18th. Designed by David Graham and Gary Panks, the Talon Course is definitely one not to be missed. Located in Scottsdale.
