Heritage Square in Phoenix
August 16, 2019
You’ve got a lot of great things to do when you’re staying at Desert’s Edge RV Resort. After all, Phoenix is a major city with a rich cultural heritage. We recommend lots of things that you can do, but this time we thought we’d discuss some recommendations for something that you absolutely have to do; eat! With that in mind, one place you have to check out is Heritage Square.
Heritage Square
Heritage Square is a reminder of Phoenix’s Victorian past. You’ll find it on Block 14 of the original townsite. The Square itself dates back to the late 1800s and is well known for the restored Rosson House Museum. In addition to being a great place to take in some history and architectural beauty, Heritage Square is also well known for the fantastic foods you’ll find there.
Heritage Square Eats
While there are plenty of places to eat, we’ll bring your attention to a few exciting places at the Square. First, Nobuo at Teeter House, is Japanese Asian fusion-style cuisine created by Chef Nobuo Fukuda.
Looking for something a little more familiar? How about Pizzeria Bianco with a wood burning brick oven where your pizzas and entrees will be made using homemade mozzarella, fresh baked breads, and locally grown vegetables!
Another option is Anhelo, which is described as contemporary American cuisine. They use local ingredients to create your meal and are very accommodating for those on a restricted diet due to allergy, diet restrictions, or just personal preference. You just need to let your server know.
